Viva España! Tapas is the collective name for small and delicious mouthfuls of something savoury, served in almost every bar in Spain.
Serving tapas is designed to encourage conversation, because people are not so focused upon eating an entire meal. They may be cold (such as mixed olives and cheese) or hot (such as chopitos, which are battered, fried baby squid) but are usually made from a variety of foods, meat, seafood, nuts, cheese, eggs.
This evening tapas lesson is a snapshot of some of what we have found to be the most popular tapas which you will make from ingredients easily available.
"Again setup was great, everything was smooth etc when we got there. Was very impressed with menu and ingredients used. Course was paced very well and demos worked perfectly. Both teachers knew the menu very well and worked well together and with the group. Actually cooking the dishes was easy and fun and we learned quite a but about flavours etc. All in all it was a very enjoyable and professional course and myself and another guy are going to book a course in the future. I'd also have no issues recommending the course to anybody based on last night's experience." Craig, May 2013
