Q: What about punctuality?
A: We always start our classes punctually. You are asked to arrive 5 to 10 minutes in advance of the lesson starting.

Q: What is the format of the class?
A:  Most of our courses are hands on classes and always involve the participants doing the cooking sometimes individually, in pairs or in groups. For demonstration classes you are handed recipes and are invited to ask questions while tasting everything that the tutor prepares.

Q: Does Cooks Academy run courses for children?
A: We welcome adults of all ages on any lesson.  We do not run specific classes for young children.  If your teenager is old enough to look after themselves on a course with others, then they are welcome to attend. We believe it is preferable for young adults to be in with everyone else rather than in a special class with others of a similar age. After all, they do enough of that at school!

Q: Do I need to bring anything?
A: For all classes, bring a pen and some tupper-ware or suitable containers to bring cooked food home. For Culinary Programmes, 1 Week Courses and 5 Week Evening Lessons you will need to bring your own apron. Make sure for to wear rubber soled shoes, no high heels or sandals.

Q: What about Disability Access?
A: Cooks Academy is disability compliant.  If you need to avail of these services, please contact us in advance of your lesson so that we can have everything ready for you.
