Seafood, often shied away from and misunderstood, even though we Irish eat approximately 21kg of it a year!

At Cooks Academy our seafood lessons are extremely popular. We take you through the dos and don'ts of seafood, showing you how to buy, prepare and cook the different types of fish.

During this fun and highly informative day we demystify many of the secrets of fish, helping you to pair them with different sauces, and showing you various cooking styles. We work with you throughout the day, demonstrating techniques and helping you to develop them yourself. While you learn the intricacies of cooking seafood, we relate everything we do to a householder's perspective, empowering you to cook these recipes in your own home.

So, if you love seafood and really want to become more accomplished with it, then this course is for you.
