A practical and fun introduction to cookery.
Sample Recipes: Stir Fried Chicken with Chili and Lime, White Soda Bread, Lasagne, Classic Caesar Salad, Fish Pie, Apple Crumble
N.B. When this course takes place on Mondays, in the event of a Bank Holiday Monday, the course day will be pushed forward to the next week
Whether you have a little cookery knowledge or none at all, this 4-week Introduction to Cookery course will cater to you.
A practical and hands-on experience, the course covers everything from traditional to contemporary cooking with a special emphasis on cooking methods and techniques, like knife skills.
The curriculum also covers many of the basic meals and sauces that you would need to enhance your food journey, from soups and starters to mains, bread making and desserts.
At each session you will prepare and cook your very own dishes which you can then take home to enjoy!
Learn the fundamentals and become a confident cook. A life skill you will have with you always.
What to bring?
- Your own apron each day or if you'd like to we can supply red Cooks Academy aprons for €15.00.
- Some Tupperware and a carry bag to bring some of the goodies you cook home with you.
