"I did the one week winter essentials course in November and really enjoyed it. The two instructors were great - friendly but professional, and very keen to pass on tips and answer all our questions! Everyone else working there was very friendly too. The course really struck the right note - it was made clear you weren’t at work or school, and if you were a few minutes late or wanted to grab a coffee that was fine, but at the same time they knew you were there to learn and made sure to pack in all the meals and teaching. The meals were lovely - fresh and modern and stuff you would want to cook again. The kitchen was great to work in and the amount of food you made and got to bring home meant the course was great value - my freezer is full! Highly recommended."

"Spent the last week doing essential cooking and absolutely loved it. Both Darina and Eoin are fantastic instructors and level pitched just right for keen amateurs. We did roughly a main, starter dessert and side each day and most I will definitely use again. I felt so inspired I often came home and cooked more or at least plated up my food all fancy!! Loved all the extra little bits and pieces I picked up along the way from knife skills to where best to get certain ingredients/equipment to nutritional info. Also benefited from nice small group - met lovely people and small group means you get more out of it. Can see this being great for team building too. Highly recommend, would love to do more."

“It’s 3 months since I completed the Essentials class and I have a waiting list of friends who want to come over for dinner. The programme gave me confidence to share what I learned and how to really enjoy the cooking experience. My wife keeps putting pictures of my new creations on Facebook. Now we have a list of friends who are on a waiting list for Sunday Dinners.”

Tim Brennan, Feb 2017

"I learned so many little things that I feel much more confident about getting home and putting this into practice. My wife is going to love me even more!"

Tim Brennan, Nov 2016

"The high points were the enthusiasm of the tutors, making pasta (fresh), risotto, and lamb shanks for the first time. The sheer organisation involved is admirable. Darina, Eoin, and Jack were so pleasant are such assets. There was no low point, loved every second!"
